Carbon Steel Pipe

Hayward Pipe carries Carbon Steel Pipe in a variety of types and grades. We specialize in industrial and heavy commercial pipe products. Because steel is both economical and versatile it is the most common of all pipe materials. It is used for water, natural gas, compressed air and gases, steam, condensate, hydraulics, slurry and dozens of other types of media. For most mechanical and low to mid pressure applications ASTM A53 grade A & B, Type ERW is commonly specified. When working with higher pressures and more critical applications, A106 grade B, Type S (seamless) is a more suitable grade.

Steel pipe is commonly sold in a plain (black) finish, however galvanized steel pipe is readily available. For better corrosion and abrasion resistance steel pipe can be coated and lined with many different materials.

You can order steel pipe with threaded ends, plain ends, beveled ends and grooved ends. It is normally sold in 20, 21, 24 and 40 foot lengths, however, Hayward Pipe can cut and prep pipe to your required length and end type.
